Levy Residence

This luxurious residence was inspired by modern Moroccan architecture at the request of the owners, born and raised in Casablanca.

“The house is a juxtaposition of volumes that emulates the Moroccan medinas, creating not only a rich façade, but also an attractive floor plan and space distribution.”

The use of natural light is the key element in providing a smooth flow among all the spaces of the house. Light is in many cases the heart of Mudejar architecture and it was carefully studied and incorporated into this project to express the same warmth and importance throughout all the spaces. Attention to detail is what makes this residence unique in its style. All interior and exterior flooring was sensibly designed in beautiful limestone. All floor pieces were custom cut to suit each particular space, including thresholds and “stone carpets”.

All carpentry, including the bathroom vanities, were also custom-made with exquisite materials and finishes. This house has an amazing view to one of Golden Beach’s canals leading to the Miami Intracoastal and eventually to the sea. These surroundings have been accompanied with a gorgeous landscape that includes fruit trees and lush palms. Views to the canal and to this amazing landscape are always highlighted by the carefully placed windows that frame these views.
